HOW INSPECT.COM WORKS

Inspect.com turns ordinary photos and video into findings you can defend: coded defects with the visible evidence that supports them, a severity call, and a repair estimate priced to the property's own local market. Here is the whole journey - and what we promise along the way.

01

Upload Photos & Video

Shoot the home with any phone and upload - HEIC photos and video clips included. Every file is fingerprinted first, so the same picture can never be analysed or billed twice.

02

The Engine Codes & Prices

A cheap triage gates the expensive look. The model surveys the assembly region by region and cites only codes that exist in our governed registry - each finding carries its visible evidence.

03

Get A Defensible Report

Findings are priced from the registry range for the property’s own metro market and frozen as data. Browser, .txt and JSON all render from the same stored payload.

WHAT TO EXPECT FROM US

UPLOAD ON DEMAND

No appointment and no scheduling. Analyse a single fixture or a whole property whenever you need it, from any phone.

EVIDENCE BEFORE CODES

Nothing is reported without the visible evidence that supports it. Uncertain findings come back as questions - never as assumptions buried in a report.

PRICED TO YOUR MARKET

Every repair range is resolved to the metro market the property legally belongs to - from GPS through public county lines, never guessed from the nearest big city.

A HUMAN WHEN IT MATTERS

Findings below the confidence bar route to expert review with the reason attached. You always know which answers came from a person.

BILLING

Do you charge per photo or per analysis?

Seats include fair-use analysis volume; portfolio and API pricing is volume-based. Duplicate photos are detected by content fingerprint and never billed twice - that is a database constraint, not a policy.

What does a seat cost?

Early-access seats start at $49 per month for professionals and $199 per month for a five-seat team; enterprise portfolios are priced per volume. Every tier runs the same engine under the same honesty rules.

How does this compare to report-writing software?

Tools like Spectora or Palm-Tech make writing a report faster. Inspect.com produces the findings themselves - coded, evidence-backed and locally priced. Many teams run both.

ANALYSIS

What media can I upload?

Photos in common formats (HEIC included) and video clips. Capture time and GPS are read from the file when present; videos are sampled into timestamped keyframes and judged as one time-ordered set.

Which systems are live today?

The engine runs end to end on the sink system today, with all 17 home systems staged in the governed registry. Early partners get direct input on which systems go live next.

What happens when the AI is not sure?

It asks instead of guessing. Uncertain findings, obstructed views and defects no code covers route to review with the reason attached - from a closed, countable list. Nothing uncertain slides silently into a priced report.

Can a video claim things a photo cannot?

Yes. Only a video may claim time-based conditions like slow drainage or an inoperative fixture, and only when the span proves it. A still photo of standing water routes to review instead.

WHAT WE DO BEST

One governed registry, one confidence contract, one price provenance rule - so two inspections of the same problem always produce the same finding.

Upload the photos you already have and watch them become coded, priced findings in minutes.
